Intently – Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using Intently (the "Service"), operated by TLP Tech Ventures LLC ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

• Information required – To register you must provide a valid email address and create a password. Everything else you add to your journal is optional.
• Account security – You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@intently.now if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Termination – We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.

Permitted use – Intently is a private journal for your own dating life. You may use it solely for personal, non‑commercial purposes. Intently is not a dating or matchmaking service and does not introduce you to other people.

Prohibited conduct – You shall not:

• Use the Service to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone, or share information about another person in a way that violates their rights or applicable law.
• Upload malicious software, viruses, or any content that infringes third‑party rights.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Service.
• Attempt to bypass security measures or interfere with the Service's operation.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.

• Ownership – You retain ownership of the content you submit (connection details, photos, notes, reflections).
• Responsibility – You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of your content, including any information you record about other people.
• Share links – If you create a share link, anyone with the link can view the shared connection's details until you revoke it or it expires. You are responsible for who you share links with.

• Pricing – Intently is billed at $2.99/month following a 7-day free trial. Prices are displayed before purchase.
• Refunds – All sales are final unless required by law. You may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund past charges.
• Taxes – You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.

• Your own API key – AI features use an OpenAI or Anthropic API key that you provide. Requests are sent to that provider on your behalf, and any usage charges from the provider are your responsibility. Your use of the provider is also subject to its own terms.
• AI output – AI-generated insights and suggestions may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice. Use your own judgment.
• Other services – Venue suggestions use the Google Maps Platform, and calendar sync uses the calendar feed you connect. We are not responsible for the availability or content of these third-party services.

• Intently assets – All trademarks, logos, designs, software, and other proprietary elements of Intently are owned by Intently or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without explicit permission.
• Feedback – Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide become the property of Intently, and you waive any claim to compensation.

• No warranties – The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intently, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid (if any) for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Intently and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or content you record or share about another person.

• Governing law – These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
• Dispute resolution – Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Plano, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post a notice within the app and, if required, send an email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

• By you – You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and your data cannot be recovered afterward.
• By Intently – We may terminate or suspend your access for any breach of these Terms, for inactivity exceeding 12 months, or for any reason with reasonable notice.

• Severability – If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• Entire agreement – These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Intently concerning the Service.
